Favorite Trails: It's like choosing between our children....but here are some "must do" trails

The Ledges. We usually access from  Happy Days Lodge off Rt303, starting with Haskell Run for total of about 3 miles.

Covered Bridge: Access from Covered Bridge trail head and do the 4.6m Riding Run loop

Brandywine Falls: best option is park at Stanford House (another Greek Revival beauty) and walk 1.2 miles to the 1.5m Gorge Loop

Trail Racing

Western Reserve Racing

Great team of people staging great trail racing throughout the year https://www.westernreserveracing.com

Fall Running Series

Five race series on Tuesdays through October. Each on a different trail in the Cuyahoga Valley. All have a twist to make it interesting. Having to throw darts at a running race?! Miss the board and it's once more up the hill for you...

Burning River 100 Ultra Marathon

People come from all over the country to participate in this premier ultra marathon held every July. 100 and 50 mile solo entries or 4 & 8 person relay teams. I'm usually in a relay team enjoying a day out in the park with friends. Volunteering at one of the aide stations is a great addition to the day and much appreciated by the brave souls out on the trails for up to thirty hours!

Add a footnote if this applies to your business

Explore Cuyahoga River National Park trails and history

An excellent guide to over 100 miles of trails along with the history of the valley. The great folks at Western Reserve Racing published this guide for a 2021 virtual event keeping us sane during the COVID pandemic. We completed the challenge over the winter of 2021 often with friends. This was our social life that Winter!
