Our prime location in North East Ohio centers you in the rich history, culture and outdoor recreation opportunities in our region.
The Cuyahoga Valley National Park is the jewel in our crown for outdoor recreation. We have over 100 miles of hiking trails. The quiet park roads are great for road biking. Bring all your bikes and enjoy purpose built mountain bike trails and gravel riding too! However you use the roads and trails there is always a choice between the easy valley floor and the challenging climbs up to the rim. For a kayaking adventure, the 87 mile Cuyahoga River water trail loops around Hudson from Burton to Lake Erie in Cleveland. The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railway operates a hike/bike/kayak aboard program taking you back to your car after your trail adventure!
Our world class orchestras and music venues, art museums and a thriving food scene. The "First and Main" district in Hudson is just a short walk away, great to stroll around and with a wide selection of shops and restaurants.
Just let us know your interests and we'll help you plan your stay.
The National Park is just a short drive or bike ride away. We have over 100 miles of hiking trails. Home of the Burning River 100 Ultra Marathon, it attracts trail runners from across the US and the world. It's a year round trail destination, with spectacular Fall colors and serene snow covered trails in Winter.
As an avid biker myself, I can't easily summarize the vast range of great biking opportunities in our NE Ohio region. Whether you're exploring Cuyahoga Valley via road, mountain and gravel bike, earned a rest covering the 326 mile Ohio to Erie trail, or riding further afield through rolling Amish country, I can help you plan your routes.
Exceptional local independent restaurants, farm stores and micro-breweries, many within walking distance.
A rich selection of arts and cultural activities across the region. From live music on the Hudson village green to the world renowned Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom music center. Attend an outdoor Shakespeare performance or just stroll the grounds at Stan Hywet hall. Ride the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad. And much more...
